This magnificent villa is at a 5 minute walk from Santaella village and has been built in an old "cortijo" style, so you wouldn’t guess that it has just been constructed! The owners have done their utmost to create a traditional home with modern luxuries such as a WiFi internet connection, air conditioning, and a dishwasher. Magnificent views over the "campiña" landscape are yours!
Location and outside area
Casa La Muela sits on a hilltop with views in all directions. From its shaded front terrace, you’ll enjoy lovely views to the village of Santaella, only 500 m away. Whilst sitting at the pool, you’ll be amazed by the panoramic views of the "campiña" landscape with it rolling hills. In this area you will find all you need for a perfect holiday: a private pool (4m x 8m long and 0.7m - 1.85m), sun terrace with sun loungers, barbecue, and patio furniture for your dining alfresco. The access is by a surfaced road except for the last 80 m which is a country road in good conditions. The antique city of Cordoba is only 40 km away, just a bit more than a half hour drive.
Inside and lay-out
If the outside seems traditional, then don’t be surprised by the typical Andalusian decoration inside where furniture has been chosen with care and love for the local style. There is a large living room with 2 sofas, an open fireplace, TV, and French doors opening onto the pool area. The open kitchen has been designed with traditional tiles, old style copper faucets, and has all you need to be comfortable: a 4 ringed gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) and a full bathroom. The master bedroom deserves a special mention for its decoration! The house is equipped with a WiFi internet connection and air conditioning (hot and cold), making this a perfect option for a stay in all seasons.
Note: An extra bed for a 7th person is available free of charge (can be placed in any of the bedrooms).
