This is the Main House, part of a lovely and peaceful cortijo sharing a tempting pool and plenty garden space with the adjacent casa Cordoba 005c and the independent Cottage Cordoba-005b. The accommodation is only 15 minutes away from historic Córdoba. A blend of rustic elements with colourful touches provides a delightful décor.

Situated at the foot of Sierra Morena, at 2,5 km distance of the village Villarrubia and only 16 km from the monumental city of Cordoba. With lots of space around and no traffic, this is the ideal option for families with children. The attractive swimming pool of 10 by 5 metres is shared with the other guest houses and has a nice, flower-covered pergola. The friendly owners live in the same plot and are devoted to ecological agriculture. They are happy to show you the cave, an ancient Arabic quarry. The elevated castle of Almodovar del Rio, a 10 minutes drive, is another option that speaks to the imagination.

The accommodation is all on one floor and consists of an open plan living / dining / kitchen. Simple, rustic furniture blend with colourful elements providing a homely feel. The living room has a wood burning stove, 2 sofa-beds and a rocking chair. The traditional kitchen comes with a dining table for 6, hob with 3 rings, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The master bedroom with a double and a single bed fits 3 persons, whilst the second bedrooms is twin bedded. On request, two additional personas can sleep on the sofa beds. Please note: prices are based upon occupancy by 4 persons. A supplement will apply for additional persons.
