Very quiet and private location in the countryside.
This lovely small villa is set amidst avocado fields and olive groves, providing a peaceful and private country retreat. The owners have done their best to offer you a comfortable stay, with good quality furnishings and some nice gadgets such as a Bluetooth speaker and Nespresso machine. All ingredients are there for a perfect holiday!
Location and outside area
The villa is located somewhat northwest of Nerja (5.9 km) and can be reached by a 1.4 km long concrete track with a few sharp curves, passing through lush vegetation and a small river bed right before arriving. The last 300m is an unsurfaced road with some bumps (normal cars can drive without problem but should be careful). Nerja offers splendid beaches, a vast array of facilities and a humming nightlife. There are also beach bars and restaurants opened all year round. For shopping, you can also make a stop at the charming whitewashed village of Frigiliana (3 km), where you will find supermarkets, good restaurants and tapas bars. This area is a walkers' paradise. If you prefer driving, then the pretty white villages of the Axarquia region, the historic caves of Maro and the Alhambra Palace in Granada are just some of the excursions to be enjoyed.
Sun loungers await at the terrace that surrounds the pool (6.5m x 3.5m and 1.2m - 1.7m deep). For a lazy siesta, you can take shelter from the midday sun under the covered veranda terrace, which is also a perfect setting to enjoy an alfresco meal. Next to the pool you will find a splendid barbecue area.
Inside and lay-out
The interior of the villa is tastefully furnished and decorated, providing a good level of comfort. The villa has all rooms on one floor. From the veranda, there is an access to the living/dining room where you will find 2 sofas, open fireplace, satellite-TV and dining facilities for 6. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, a 3 ringed induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all kinds of utensils. There is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. There is a shower room with WC and single wash basin.
The villa has a free internet connection and several extra’s such as a Bluetooth speaker, "Dolce Gusto" coffee machine and safe box.

- Air conditioning (cooling) in the bedrooms included from 1/04 to 31/10 (the air has quite a bit of power, so it conditions the entire house).

Despite it being a little off the beaten track on a small road leading to a track - instructions by the owner are very clear and once you’ve driven it once, it’s all ok. Would love to return again.

The villa is superb. Whilst it is traditional in its decor it is clearly a newly built villa (or extremely well looked after) we were met by the owners who were extremely friendly and clearly cared about the cleanliness and presentation of the villa. Whilst I didn't speak any Spanish we communicated through google translate and instructions and details were easily shared. The villa had everything needed for a week of pure seclusion and relaxation. The owners provided all the essentials and much more including bottled water on arrival. The pool and bbq area are both well kept and clean. We spent evenings on the veranda and the views were lovely. Every area of the villa was well kept and the WiFi signal was excellent. I cannot recommend this villa enough. Not many places who would go to so much effort to get the detail right. The only thing to mention is the road to the villa. As others have mentioned once you have done it once you soon get used to it but just a small note of caution. In a normal car or SUV the road is fine.

It has everything you could possibly need, exceptionally clean with all the mod cons. The peace and quiet was fantastic, beautiful pool and BBQ. Really enjoyed the stay especially the visits by Antonio's dog, he was much loved by us as we missed our see more

The road is slightly difficult but easily overcome once you get used to it, is only 5 minutes to Nerja.

The clear instructions we were given took us straight to this lovely Villa. We were met by the key holder who spoke no English and we spoke no Spanish, but he was patient and explained everything in and around the villa to us. The place was extremely clean and tidy inside and out. The beds were made up with lovely clean bedding and the double bed was very comfortable indeed! We had a very relaxing week here and really hoped to book again next year as soon as flights and times are released. We were left a big bowl of fresh oranges and lemons, which were delicious. What we really liked was all the little things like a bathroom mat, firewood, cleaning stuff and dishwasher tablets. There was also a first aid cabinet which is very thoughtful. The BBQ was great and although we weren't brave enough to go in the pool it looked very inviting. The Internet access was simple to use and very reliable! The only thing that would have made this place better would be a couple of English TV channels or a DVD player as this time of year it gets dark early. But we enjoyed playing cards in front of the lovely fire in the evenings.
If I could ask for anything I would say include a folder for information for guests, etc. and places to visit or recommend. Thanks for a great week, can't wait to come back. |

If you are staying in the Nerja/ Frigliana area and do not book this place you are missing out on a wonderful holiday experience. Lovely walks on the doorstep and perfect for relaxing, it was heartbreaking to leave! Don't worry about the road and tracks leading to it, our basic Fiat Panda coped perfectly! 10/10, what more can be said!

Also the extensive amount of sheets and towels are very useful. We had a lovely relaxing stay around the pool and the verandah has beautiful views of local countryside. Antonio and family are very welcoming and always on call if there are any problems or questions. We would like to return in the future.
The drive from the main road becomes a very narrow, rough, steep track which can be difficult to navigate, especially at night. We did get used to this drive though. The double bed is quite uncomfortable for two people. |

La propiedad está completa con absolutamente de todo. La piscina está fenomenal y la zona de barbacoa es un lujo. La casa es muy cómoda y la zona súper segura para niños y animales. Los dueños son muy buena gente. Volveremos.

Etait parfaitement propre et bien rangée à notre arrivée. Tout à l'intérieur est presque neuf. Aucun problème pendant le séjour, piscine très agréable et propre également (le propriétaire Antonio s'en occupe une à deux fois par semaine). Internet rapide (wifi) et télévision par satellite (Astra) qui fonctionne très bien. Les téléphones portables captent parfaitement les réseaux. L'environnement est très tranquille. Il faut savoir que cette ""casa rural"" est dans la campagne et que la route pour y arriver est très raide et étroite, non goudronnée sur la fin (pas un problème tant qu'il ne pleut pas).

Tranquilidad e intimidad. Muy cuidado como si fuera tu propia casa. Todo al detalle. Si buscas descanso éste es tu sitio. Además está a 5 minutos de Nerja y Frigiliana. El trato muy cercano y perfecto. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Deshalb sollte man, trotz detaillierter Wegbeschreibung, unbedingt vor Einbruch der Dunkelheit das Haus erreicht haben.

On dit qu'après les nuages il y a le soleil ; c'est exactement le sentiment que j'ai eu en arrivant dans cette maison. Route difficile mais le bonheur à l'arrivée. Accueil par Antonio qui nous a mis à l'aise et fais le tour du propriétaire, plaisir des yeux des oreilles et du nez, maison d'une propreté inégalée. Il n y a pas la climatisation mais, en toute honnêteté, on en avait pas besoin malgré les températures avoisinant les 35. Tout le nécessaire était sur place, on y était mieux que chez nous. Cette maison est une belle histoire et aussi un JOLIE COUP DE COEUR. Pour un tarif très bas au vue les prestations. Merci encore. Et j'espère à 2019.

Le cadre est splendide, une magnifique vue sur les montagnes, les levés et couchés de soleil sont très facilement admirables. Il est notamment à noter que la maison est très bien équipée. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances au calme, tout en étant proche de la grande ville mouvementée de Nerja. Je recommande vivement d'autant plus que les propriétaires sont adorables et serviables.

Tal vez otro consejo para futuros huéspedes: un tendedero y una carpeta de información de Nerja.

Zwembad met heerlijke ligbedden en een buitenkeuken met barbecue. Een overdekt terras om verkoeling te zoeken en een eettafel om de maaltijd te nuttigen. Zeer schoon, rust en ruimte en ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaar. Ligt wat afgelegen maar met een auto is alles prima te doen. Tip: Huur een auto met wat meer vermogen om makkelijker de berg op te komen.
