Located next to Villa Nerja 006 (its twin sister), this is a very comfortable villa with attractive gardens and a lovely barbecue area, offering sufficient privacy and tranquillity. Conveniently located, only 2.2 km from Nerja's Burriana beach, this villa meets all desires for a perfect holiday.
Location and outside area
The property is accessed by a private driveway leading down from the electronically operated gates. For your outside meals, there is a nice and shaded terrace adjacent to the villa; a barbecue is provided. Sun-addicts will love the lawn that surrounds the tempting pool (8x4 m) with sun loungers. The views across the avocado plantation out to the countryside and the hills surrounding Nerja are lovely. The villa is only a five minute drive (3 km) from Nerja whilst the Burriana beach is even closer by (2.2 km). Historic Granada, with its spectacular Alhambra palace, the medieval Albaicín district, shops, pretty squares, and palaces is well worth a visit and just a bit more than a one hour drive. On foot, this area is a walkers' paradise. The pretty white villages of the Axarquia and the historic Nerja caves are a few of the excursions to be enjoyed.
Inside and lay-out
With excellent furnishings and all rooms on the ground floor, this is a very comfortable villa. From the terrace, the front door opens onto the comfortably furnished lounge and dining room. The large stone fireplace is a feature of the lounge and very enjoyable during the cooler months. There is also satellite-TV and a radio/CD-player. A breakfast bar separates the dining area from the very well equipped kitchen with a 4 ringed vitro hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. There are three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and two deluxe bathrooms. All rooms are provided with air conditioning /heating. A WiFi internet connection and safebox are available (both free of charge).

Looking for a villa at a few steps from the beach and town centre?
Imagine: step out the door, turn left, walk 80 m and... lay down on the beach! Alternatively, you may also sit down at a terrace for a cold sangria! It is all possible: this wonderful villa is located in calle Carabeo, in the very heart of Nerja. You will have your own private pool with a sun terrace while enjoying magnificent views out to the beach and the Mediterranean. Before you read on: this villa fits a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children.
Location and outside area
No rental car needed at this villa: it's only a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shops, tapa bars, and the beaches such as playas Carabeillo and Carabeo. Still the house does have its own private parking. In case you prefer visiting the highlights of Andalusia without driving, then you can book a guided excursion or take public transport from the bus station at 800 m from the villa. The villa is provided with a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (2.5 x 3.5 m). A large sun screen covers the dining area making it a perfect spot to enjoy a lunch in the shade; barbecue and patio furniture are provided. For families with children it will be good to know that there is also a shared pool (visible on one of the pictures) where the kids can make new friends. On the first floor is another sun terrace with the same splendid sea views, only accessible through the master bedroom.
Notes:
* The City Council of Nerja has the intention to cut Carabeo Street with a poller in the near future. At this moment we do not know if the street, and thus the parking, will be accessible for the guests, since there is a lack of information on the part of the City Council. The community of property owners is claiming that access will be granted but it is soon to know if this will be solved in a positive way. In case access to the parking of the villa finally would not be possible, then we nor the property owner can not be held responsible. Should this happen, then you can park your car at "Parking Carabeo", a very large parking lot just behind Calle Carabeo, at 3 minutes walk. There is a special price for 7 days (please ask us for approximate prices).
* In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the villa will not be available from a few days days before and during the fair because the calle Carabeo will not be accessible. If you bring a car, you can try to find a spot in the surroundings or we can offer you a free parking at Marina Turquesa apartments (at 1,5 km from the villa). You may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as the villa is at a prudent distance from the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything.
Inside and lay-out
The villa is built on two floors and comfortably furnished; the marble floors show the good taste of the designer. On the ground floor is a luminous living room with large LCD-TV, a dining-corner and a fire place. The kitchen is small but smartly furnished with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is in the utility room under the stairs. There is also a toilet on this floor.
On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with a large and private sun terrace. The second bedroom is a twin. The third bedroom on this floor is very small, with a bunk bed and no wardrobe —the reason why we find this bedroom more apt for two children. There is a full bathroom with an over bath shower, WC, bidet, and basin.
The villa has air conditioning in the living room and 2 bedrooms.

Villa was great! Lovely pool and grounds and villa was well furnished. The quality of the bed linen and towels could be a lot better but overall this is a great villa. It's outside town which is a 25minutes walk away. The roads and track to the villasee more

It's outside town which is a 25minutes walk away. The roads and track to the villa are narrow and require care with insufficient passing places. Only two visits to Nerja town itself which was clean with a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Visited Burriana beach several times. Excellent sandy beach with clear water and some smaller pebbles at the water's edge. Good facilities nearby including showers and restaurants and play areas.

The outside was absolutely wonderful - the lovely garden, the pool and the view. Inside was very clean and comfortable...Overall we had a fantastic time and are seriously considering booking the same villa again next year.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Nerja. La maison est très agréable et spacieuse avec une magnifique piscine. Tout était parfait. Calme et tranquillité au rendez-vous.

Het huis ligt op een wat afgelegen, maar erg mooie plek. Het is prima ingericht, al zou het bankstel wel eens vervangen kunnen worden. Het prettigst aan dit huis is de enorme ruimte eromheen en de zorgvuldigheid waarmee deze onderhouden is. Overal prsee more

Het prettigst aan dit huis is de enorme ruimte eromheen en de zorgvuldigheid waarmee deze onderhouden is. Overal prachtig bloeiende planten, goed onderhouden bomen, groen gras en zefs de potten aan de buitenmuren zijn uitgerust met een bevloeingssysteem. Naast het zwembad is ook een heel mooi vijvertje aangelegd. Verder een barbecue, buitenoven en aanrecht met stromend water. Vooral deze buitenruimte geeft je als gast een erg luxueus gevoel. Onze puberzonen noemden het paradijselijk :-).
Overigens vonden wij Nerja zelf gewoon een spaanse kustplaats, met de drukte, mentaliteit en lawaaiigheid van dien, al wordt er geschreven dat het zoveel rustiger zou zijn. Gelukkig ligt het huis een eindje buiten het dorp. Print altijd de routebeschrijving uit, het is echt moeilijk te vinden als je het niet weet. Des te groter de beloning als je het vindt en de poort opent zich. |
