Description
With numerous extras such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe and a hairdryer, this small and charming cottage is located in the residential area known as Cortijos de San Rafael, between the famous coastal resort of Nerja and the still-authentic village of Frigiliana (just 1.5 km away). It enjoys a peaceful setting while remaining easily accessible from the road connecting Nerja and Frigiliana. The swimming pool features an ecological purification system, and the house also offers air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Location and outdoor areas
Access to the cottage is through a spacious, sunny patio paved with handmade bricks, decorated with flowerpots and a small garden on the right-hand side. The wooden front door, painted blue to match the window frames and give the house a truly Mediterranean feel, leads into the dining area, kitchen, living room and bathroom.
A large glass door opens onto a generous terrace furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue. The terrace is covered by a pergola and offers beautiful views of the sea, the countryside and the mountains. Its position makes it ideal for both summer and winter stays.
The private saltwater swimming pool is equipped with an ionization purification system, free of chemical products and therefore gentle on the skin and environmentally friendly. At the far end of the pool there is a handmade mosaic created by a local artist, entitled “Sun”. Outdoor furniture includes sun loungers, a table and a large parasol.
Interior and layout
The dining area overlooks the entrance patio. The living room features a comfortable sofa, a practical armchair, a coffee table and a sideboard with television (English channels available). There is also a wood-burning stove.
The bright master bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed with bedside tables, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The bed is particularly noteworthy for its original headboard, created by a local artist using hand-forged iron, wood and semi-precious stones. The room is filled with natural light thanks to a window overlooking a private outdoor area where an old carob tree grows (a native and protected species in the region).
From the living room, a staircase leads down to the second bedroom, which has two single beds, a wardrobe and a bookcase with books in English and Spanish. This bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The bathroom is decorated with hand-finished tiles and includes a washbasin, toilet and shower (a hairdryer is also provided). Hot water is supplied by solar panels. The washing machine is located in the utility room.
The cottage also offers attractive extras such as hot/cold air conditioning, a safe, and broadband internet access for guests bringing their own laptop (at no extra cost). In addition, guests benefit from a private parking space.

Inside and lay-out
With rooms on 2 floors, you will agree that this is a very friendly and modern retreat. The decoration, in white and natural colours, inspires a homely feel.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious living/dining room, comfortably furnished, with a wood burning stove, dining table for 6, 1 sofa and an armchair, satellite TV and DVD player. The half-open kitchen is very well equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A lovely double bedroom and a beautifully tiled full shower room with WC and a basin are also on the ground floor.
The first floor consists of a romantic double bedroom and a modern ensuite shower room with basin and WC. This bedroom gives access to the lovely sun terrace with sea views. All together, this villa offers you an excellent price/quality ratio.

With its private pool, an excellent barbecue area, views and a comfortable furnishing, the price of this villa is really unbeatable. The villa has a quiet situation on the outskirts of Nerja (2 km) with the town center and beaches just a ten minute drive away.
Location and outside area
This is the ideal villa for outside living; you can cool off in your own private pool with roman steps (7m x 3.8m and 1.3m – 1.75m deep), enjoy a siesta at the shaded veranda or use the barbecue for your alfresco dinners. It will seem that sunny days never come to an end! The villa has a peaceful situation in the countryside, but is well accessed. If you are able to tear yourself away from this relaxing spot, then go visit the beautiful surrounding villages or experience the grandeur of Granada's splendid Alhambra Palace. For nights out, Nerja offers a fine selection of restaurants, tapa bars and opportunities to make a fiesta.
