Description
        An oasis of quiet encircled by countryside, just 3 kms from Aroche.
A lovely, rustic style farmhouse located in the countryside, in the Sierra of Aracena Natural Park, 3 km from Aroche and only a few km from Portugal. It’s the ideal property for a group of friends or a big family looking for one of the most beautiful areas of Andalusia. Enjoy a relaxed holiday with your own private pool and dine outside under the grapevine!
Location and outside area
The beauty of the Sierra de Aracena is not much known yet by most foreigners, so you won’t be meeting hordes of tourists. On the contrary: quietness and peace are guaranteed at this idyllic spot! Nevertheless, the village of Aroche (3 km) is only a 5 minute drive away, 8.1% of its territory a part of the natural park. Its location allows you to discover all the treasures of the Sierra of Aracena on foot, bicycle, or horse. The kind owners will be happy to give you information about excursions, where to go and what to do. Don’t forget to sample the excellent local gastronomy, famous for its "jamon de pata negra" and other products made from the Iberian black pig. Vegetarians can try a wide variety of wild mushrooms found in the surroundings (in season). The lovely outside areas include a vine-covered veranda with barbecue and an attractive private pool (9 by 4,5 m, deep 1.10-170 m) with views on the surrounding landscape.
Inside and lay-out
Built and decorated in the traditional rustic style of the Aracena area, the house provides a cosy retreat for all seasons. There are 2 floors: the ground floor features a living/dining room with an open fireplace, a well equipped open-plan kitchen and 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom. One of the bedrooms is adapted for wheelchairs. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom.
