This lovely country retreat enjoys a unique setting within the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park, rich in flora and fauna and an oasis of peace and tranquillity. A pergola-terrace with barbecue will let you enjoy splendid outside dinners. Tastefully furnished and decorated throughout, this house provides good comfort.
Location and outside area
The cottage is part of a family-run organic farm, however completely independent and away from the main house. The country road to the house leads through a field of cork and holm oaks. Its garden area includes a terrace with a pergola, garden furniture, and barbecue. A hedge ensures your privacy, although sometimes you may see workers in the garden in front of the house. The private pool (9m x 5m) is situated at a short walking distance (approximately 100 m) and totally surrounded by vegetation.
For shopping or a tapa bar, the nearby village of El Repilado is only 5 minutes by car and provides the basic needs, whilst the bigger town of Cortegana is about 10 km away. Its central location within the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park allows you to discover all the treasures of the park. Don’t forget to sample the excellent gastronomy of the region, famous for its "jamon de pata negra" and other products made from the Iberian black pig. The friendly owners, Armando and Lola, were born and raised in the area and can provide you with wonderful suggestions for walking and horse or bike riding! It is also possible to experience the organic farm: Armando raises Iberian pigs, cures his own "jamón" and takes care of the ecological vegetable garden, whilst his wife Lola works on other products like goat cheese and is your gracious host during your stay.

The house has all its rooms on a single floor and is completely accessible. A tasteful decoration and comfortable furniture in a rustic style will make you feel right at home! The dining/living room has a warm ambience with an open fireplace, sofa-bed, television, and 2 rocking chairs. The kitchen is provided with a gas hob, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, another with two single beds) and two bathrooms.
