Its situation holds the middle between a rural and urban location, enjoying the best of both worlds. The town centre of Alcaucin is a five minute drive away (3 kms), with family run shops, tapa bars and restaurant. The nearby Lake Vinuela, a man made reservoir, is just a to be found at the same distance. The area doesn’t suffer from motorised water sports that are not allowed here, only simple sailing boats and canoes sometimes disturb the usual calmness of the lake. The Mediterranean is also conveniently nearby for those who would like to take a dip in the Ocean: the sandy beaches of Torre del Mar are 24 kms from here, a 25 minute drive. For a day-trip, sports or a hike, you will have a wide array to choose from. The antique city of Antequera and the Picasso museum in Malaga are just a half hour drive, whilst the Sierra de Almijara is a favourite destination for those looking for nature or even mountain climbing. The villa itself has a private, kidney-shaped swimming pool surrounded by a sunny terrace area with terracotta pots. The villa offers quality furnishing, with all rooms on one floor. The dining/living room comes with a fireplace, dining table, sofa, two comfortable armchairs and satellite tv. From here doors open onto the veranda terrace. The luminous kitchen is very well equipped with 4 rings gas hob, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedrooms comprise of a double bedroom and two twins. There are two bathrooms.
