History
Casitas Select S.L. is a specialist for villa rentals in
rural Andalucia. Back in 1995, under name of Viajes Bonilla
S.A., we started organizing round trips for the Spanish market.
Casitas Select started its activities in 2004 after some years
of searching holiday villas for foreign friends who were looking
for something else than mass-market package holidays. As a
consequence of its succes, Casitas Select became an independent
business unit in 2007.
Our selection criteria
Our selection criteria are a direct result of what our friends
asked us to look for. They wanted to enjoy their holiday “the
Andalusian way” and were looking for a relaxing, individual
accommodation with good privacy, authenticity, a private pool
and a natural environment. Some wanted to be near the interesting
cities of Granada, Jerez de la Frontera, Cordoba or Seville,
others wanted to be in the mountains or near the beach. So
we ended up with a very interesting collection of cottages,
farmhouses and villas throughout Andalusia.

Our flexibility
From the very beginning, flexibility has been one of the flagships
of our business. Our friends didn’t fit in the one out of
a dozen package and we expect you won’t either. Our personnel
will do their utmost to go beyond your expectations in fitting your
needs. We have tried hard (and keep trying) to avoid limitations
such as “you should arrive on a Saturday” or “minimum
stays of a week”. Honestly spoken, we are yet far from being
satisfied and you will encounter some accommodations that do require
fixed arrival days etcetera. Be sure that if this occurs, the charm
and beauty of the accommodation won the battle over the flexibility-question.
For many other inquiries you may have, we can offer you solutions
you won’t see on the program, such as special transports,
a private guide, catering, a Christmas tree, golf reservations...
Please don’t hesitate to ask us if you’re looking for
something that’s not on the menu!
Your holiday protection.
This is another question we would like to talk about. We are conscious
of the fact that, in case you do not live in Spain, you may have
your doubts whether it’s a good idea to book with a Spanish
touroperator. Therefore we would like you to explain that the Spanish
law provides one of the best protections in the European tourist
industry to assure that any money you pay to us is well protected.
In Spain, all touroperators have the obligation by law to deposit
a bond of 60.000€ and, in addition, all travel agents need
to ensure monies paid by the clients with a public liability insurance
of €210,000. There are a very severe controls of compliance
of this law. We are a fully bonded registered travel agent with
C.I.A.N.-number 141308-2 (the Spanish equivalent to the UK’s
ABTA, the Dutch ANVR, the DRV in Germany or the French SNAV).
